In Case You Are Curious . . .
Major highlights of my life include birth (at a young age), beginning kindergarten (at a slightly older age), and baptism (at age eight). I went to elementary school, junior high school, high school, and college (in that order), which was also very nice and enjoyable. I also served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, and Maine. After that I started getting older and now work for the Minnesota Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church as the communications assistant.
I am the oldest of seven children and have six nephews and two nieces. I like my family a lot.
I like music a lot too. I play the piano and harp and a few other things (flute, hand bells, Appalachian dulcimer) for fun. I play the organ for church each week, which has helped me improve in that a lot. I like to make arrangements and do a little song writing too. I also enjoy directing and accompanying choirs, but I’m not very good at doing both at the same time.
I’m currently pursuing a master’s degree in strategic communication from the University of Minnesota.
